U.S. Congressman Billy Long and MO Speaker of the House Tim Jones added as speakers at Annual Lincoln Day Dinner of Newton-Jasper Counties.  

JOPLIN, MO (January 23, 2014)— The Annual Lincoln Day Dinner of Newton-Jasper Counties will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Butcher’s Block Banquet Center, 499 West Fountain Rd, Joplin, MO 64801.  Social Hour will start at 6:00PM and the program will start at 6:30PM.

This year’s featured speakers will be keynoter Missouri State Auditor Tom Schweich, U.S. Congressman Billy Long, Missouri Speaker of the House Tim Jones and State Senator Ron Richard.  Jim Jackson will serve as master of ceremonies.

2013 Free Bean Feed at Crowder College

November 8th Annual Bean Feed at Crowder College in Neosho

The Annual Free Bean Feed, hosted by the Newton County Republican Central Committee, will be held Friday November 8^th at the Crowder College Main Campus 601 Laclede, Neosho, MO 64850 in the Wright Conference Room on the second floor of the Farber Building.  Doors will open at 6:00PM and the Buffet Line will begin at 6:30PM. 

Catering will be provided by the Aggie Club of Crowder College and the menu will include Ham and Beans, Cornbread, Cake, Iced Tea, Coffee and Water. 

Featured speakers will be U.S 7^th District Congressman Billy Long, MO State Senator Ron Richard, and MO Attorney General Candidate Senator Kurt Schaefer.

The Republican Women of Newton County (RWNC) will be hosting a silent auction.  If you are interested in donating items for the Silent Auction, please contact RWNC President Tami Owens at 417-825-1785.

We invite all our Republican friends from across Southwest Missouri.  Bring your friends and neighbors and please pass along this information to anyone that may be interested in attending.

MO State Auditor Tom Schweich Added as Speaker at Annual Free Watermelon Feed with 7th District US Congressman Billy Long

The Annual Free Watermelon Feed, co-hosted by the Republican Women of Newton County and the Newton County Republican Central Committee, will be heldThursday, August 22, 2013 at 6:30 P.M. at Big Spring Park, 308 West Spring St., Neosho, MO 64850.

 The Free Watermelon Feed is open to all Republicans.  Ice cold watermelon and bottled water will be provided—free of charge. All you need to bring are your lawn chairs, appetite, and friends & neighbors.  

Featured speakers for this year’s Free Watermelon Feed will be 7^th District US Congressman Billy Long, Missouri State Senator Ron Richard and Missouri State Auditor Tom Schweich.

A straw poll will be available to those in attendance.  The straw poll ballot will serve as entries into a drawing for a prize.  Featured prizes include: 12 gauge ammunition, .22 ammunition, the book America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great by Ben Carson M.D., and the book Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One by Zev Chafets. The drawing will take place at the conclusion of the Free Watermelon Feed.  There will be four winners in all; winners on hand for the drawing will have first choice of prizes available.

 In case of rain the Free Watermelon Feed will be moved to the Lampo Building, 500 E Spring Street, Neosho, MO 64850 at 6:30 P.M.
